Bakenology’s blending operation started in August 2020. We focus on the Sweet and Speciality baked sector and supply customers in the UK and EU.
35 years experience in baking, ingredients and development supported by industry experts in food safety and science and application.
We work with (mainly Industrial) Bakeries to develop and supply concentrated blends of dry powdered, functional ingredients (usually additives and enzymes) to improve, increase and enhance processing and product quality attributes.
We operate 2 higly efficient blending lines that ensure uniform dispersion of micro ingredients.
All raw materials and blended products are sieved and metal detected prior to packing. Packed weights range from 8 – 25Kg and IBC.
Bakenology operates 2 blending lines and has validated clean down and strict processing procedures in place.
Line 1 handles blends containing Gluten only.
Line 2 handles NO allergens. Blends from this line are externally tested for the presence of gluten above 5ppm.
No seeds or nuts are permitted on site.
